What to Do in Singapore for Halloween: A 3-Day Festival of Thrills Itinerary at Resorts World Sentosa 🎃🇸🇬

Halloween season na naman — and if you're wondering what to do in Singapore this time of year, the answer is almost entirely at Resorts World Sentosa. We got invited by RWS to experience three days and two nights of their Festival of Thrills — and it was, without exaggeration, one of the most memorable trips of the year. Getting to Singapore and Sentosa ✈️

We flew in via Singapore Airlines from Manila. From the airport, the team arranged a private transfer directly to Sentosa — convenient and stress-free.

Where We Stayed: Hotel Ora, Resorts World Sentosa 🏨

We checked in at Hotel Ora inside the RWS complex — and from the moment we walked in, the experience set the tone for the entire trip.

The room was very spacious with a balcony — and I slept better here than I expected to. Spoiler alert: the bed is very, very good.

Being inside RWS also means everything is walkable — Singapore Oceanarium, Adventure Cove, Universal Studios Singapore, and the restaurants are all within the complex. Zero transit stress for the whole trip.

Day 1: Into the Glowcean + Dinner at Laurus 🌊🍽️

Singapore Oceanarium — Into the Glowcean 🌊

Right after check-in, we went straight to the Singapore Oceanarium — the newly expanded former S.E.A. Aquarium that reopened in July 2025, now three times larger with 22 themed zones. For Halloween season, it had an additional layer: Into the Glowcean — a series of neon light sculptures installed throughout the park that give the whole experience an eerie, otherworldly glow. Really added an interesting flavor on top of an already impressive oceanarium.

By 4pm, we caught the dive show — and yes, the divers were in full Halloween costume swimming around with the sharks and fish. Trick or treat, shark edition. Overall vibe: surprisingly chill and very good for families.

Dinner: Laurus Table by Chef Fabrizio Ferrari 🍷

For dinner, we went to Laurus Table — a restaurant by celebrity chef Fabrizio Ferrari inside RWS. The space is beautiful — cozy, warm, and it genuinely feels like dining inside a well-curated home rather than a hotel restaurant.

The food was really good. Standout: the seabass risotto. Creamy, well-balanced, and exactly the kind of dish you think about the next day.

Nightcap: The Collector's Bar 🍸

We ended Day 1 at The Collector's Bar for drinks and catching up with the whole gang. The perfect low-key cap to a first evening in Singapore.

Day 2: Adventure Cove + Halloween Horror Nights 14 🎢👻

Breakfast: LOMA at Hotel Ora ☕

Breakfast at LOMA inside Hotel Ora — wide selection, beautiful setup, and one standout item: the kaya toast. If you're staying at Hotel Ora, do not skip breakfast here.

At 9am, there was also a meet and greet with Manja — perfect if you're traveling with kids or just have a soft spot for adorable characters.

Adventure Cove Waterpark — Legend Keepers 🌊🔍

By 10am we were at Adventure Cove Waterpark for a morning of water activities. For Halloween season, the park added a special experience called Legend Keepers — a puzzle adventure built around the park that adds a fun layer on top of the regular attractions.

We spent most of our time on the Adventure River — the lazy river that winds through the park past fish tanks and marine habitats. Great for decompressing between more intense activities.

💡 Timing tip: Lunch inside the park before heading to Universal Studios Singapore — gives you energy for the main event of the evening.

Universal Studios Singapore — TRICK or THRILLS + Halloween Horror Nights 14 🎃

By afternoon we were at Universal Studios Singapore — already transformed for Halloween season with TRICK or THRILLS, featuring special shows, new installations, and characters walking around in full Halloween costume. Parang bata talaga ako seeing all of it.

But the real highlight started at 6pm when it got dark — we got to experience the media preview of Halloween Horror Nights 14 (HHN14).

HHN is something I'd been wanting to attend for a long time. Being officially invited to the preview — walking through haunted houses, seeing the icons, tasting the themed food — was genuinely one of those moments where you feel the distance between where you started and where you are now.

We went through 2 out of the 4 haunted houses for the preview. The atmosphere, the production quality, the genuine scares — and this was just a preview. The full HHN14 experience must be something else entirely.

The themed food was also a highlight — RWS always goes all out with the F&B during HHN, and this year was no exception.

Day 3: Brunch at Moutarde + Festival of Thrills at WEAVE 🥂🎃

Brunch: Moutarde at WEAVE Singapore 🍳

Day 3 was free and easy — and the highlight was brunch at Moutarde inside WEAVE Singapore, also part of the RWS complex.

The food was genuinely excellent — especially anything from the grille and the desserts. Must-orders: the beef and the French toast. The French toast in particular is the kind of thing you keep thinking about on the flight home.

After brunch, we did a short tour of WEAVE Singapore to try the Festival of Thrills activities available inside — a fitting way to cap the trip before heading to the airport.
